More Amazing YouTube Ad Results
Because of the great interest and response to my previous posting about my YouTube ads, I’m sharing the next installment.
Since I got amazing results from that YouTube ad in December 2025 I decided to continue the ad, starting up again on January 6, 2026. Here are those results.

They’re pretty spectacular when it comes to overall views and subscribers, especially when you factor in the ROI (return-on-investment). Let’s break it down.
1.Views
Overall, my content received 1.6K views, which was driven by the YouTube Ad; I know this because I wasn’t receiving any views when I didn’t have the ad.
This was up from the 1.5K Views in December, too! And the overall watch time improved 19% from the previous month, also.
My learning from this? This type of content: B2C, entertaining, informational, and even inspirational, does well. It’s the type of content people want to relax with – when they want distraction. It’s not at all “work focused.”
To reinforce this, I look at the spikes in viewership, which typically occur over the weekend (when people have more leisure time for scrolling) or when I’ve released a new video.
2. Subscribers
Even more important to me than the number of views is the number of subscribers. These are people who make the additional effort to sign up for future content. They will be notified when new videos are uploaded, for example, as it will show up in their YouTube feed.
What’s even more exciting than the increase in viewers (up 274 over December) is the speed at which this channel is growing. As you may recall from my previous post, I ended up with 86 Subscribers – which was an amazing result, given I’d started off with four.
Now, I’m creeping up on 400 Subscribers! And you don’t have to be a mathematician to see that I’ve gotten 4x more than I had only 30 days ago.
How did I do this? Did I spend thousands of dollars?
No.
I doubled my previous budget, spending $100 instead of $50.
Yes, you read that right. I’ve gone from four subscribers to almost 400 (100x increase) in 60 days.
As I said in my previous blog post, I can’t promise these types of results to everyone. Or even anyone else. My podcast doesn’t try to sell anything. Its only goal is to share “good news” that’s happening for animals and their environments, including both domestic animals and wildlife, around the world.
It turns out that people want to hear good news these days. And that’s exactly why I’m doing this.
I’m reaching out to anyone who is making a difference and creating real change for animals or the environment.
I hope that, if you know of anyone who’s fighting the good fight and doing good work, you’ll reach out to me so that I can talk to them.
Let’s get the word out so that they get the recognition – and maybe even the funding they need.

Thanks for your ongoing support!
